Hello Shurtleff Family. I thought I’d write a quick note about me and why I chose to dive into this project.

My name is Robert Eugene Shurtleff (The Website Guy – MN). My father is Robert Kerner Shurtleff, son of Eugene Avery Shurtleff, son of Roy Lothrop Shurtleff. Eugene is Lawton’s brother. So that is my connection to the family and this book.

Unfortunately, I do not have an interest in formal on-going genealogy (due to time and expense to gain expertise), but I did want to informally contribute to this ongoing project by providing a way for future generations to connect to this book and provide a way to keep the family’s future history up to date for future and past generations alike.

Please come back often as the addition of the individual chapters in this book will be an on-going process.
